All aboard!  Join us in Hartland on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for the 9th annual Hartland's Polar Express Day. Wear your best pajamas and enjoy a stroll through the historic Village of Hartland to experience the sights and sounds of the holiday season in celebration of the book The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. 

Activities & fun include:

  • Train rides up and down Avon Street from Hartland Insurance Agency, Inc.
  • A photo opportunity with Santa from Universal Credit Services, Inc. 
  • Real, live reindeer and winter games on the Cromaine Library's South Lawn
  • Crafts and fun with the Hartland Deerfield Fire Authority
  • Ornaments from the Gnomes of Hartland
  • Water and fun with Beauchamp Water Treatment Solutions 
  • Donuts and fun with Hartland United at Village Real Estate Group
  • Photobooth at Jellison CPA
  • Performances by The MIT Dance Studio
  • Crafts & Candy Canes at The Killer Plant Company 
  • Hot Cocoa and Snacks from Leigh Harter Speech Services 
  • DIY Birdseed Ornaments from the Rotary Club of Hartland
  • Face painting at Michigan Financial Planning

*All crafts and activities while supplies last.  

Please note that Hartland Road between Crouse Road and School Street will be closed throughout the event and thru traffic may be limited on Crouse Road between Hartland Rd and Washington Street. Please use Mill St, Henry St, School St, and Washington St as detours around the event.  Parking is available at Creekside Elementary and Hartland Middle School at Ore Creek.
