Event Details

Whether you dream of composing poems, completing a novel, or making journaling a more regular habit, building a life that includes writing might be easier than you think. In this session we’ll talk about some of the strategies writers like Stephen King, Ray Bradbury and Anne Lamott have used to stave off writer’s block and cultivate their own unique voices. We’ll talk about our own goals for writing and practice some writing together. Writers of all experience levels and genres are welcome. All you need is something to write with and an open mind!  Led by Sarah Carson, author of several poetry collections, including How to Baptize a Child in Flint, Michigan (November 2022). AR
